MInistry Assistant

Herb Welday iv

Herb joined the Cornerstone staff on June 3, 2019. His primary role includes the oversight of Youth Ministry, First Impressions, and Properties. Herb was born in Tampa Bay, Florida but grew up traveling around the world as his dad served in the military. Having been raised in a Christian home, Herb had a multitude of knowledge about God, but failed to have a true understanding of the Gospel; he had the head knowledge without the heart transformation. When he began attending Cornerstone in 2013, Herb came to a genuine understanding of the Gospel.  He has since grown in his love for God and His word and seeks to live out his faith daily by God’s grace. Herb is newly married to his bride, Stephanie. They met at Cornerstone in 2016 and were married in May of 2018. He and Stephanie both desire to serve faithfully at Cornerstone now as well as in the future long-term. In his spare time, Herb enjoys spending time with his wife, their two dogs, his friends, and family.
